The European Commission did last month announce a ‘Cyber Resilience Act’ (CRA), with proposed regulation for cyber security of electrical/electronic products (with digital elements).
The proposed new European Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation as published earlier this year builds on the existingEcodesign Directive. Ecodesign requirements for specific product groups shall be set to improve their circularity, energy performance and other environmental sustainability aspects.
