It’s summertime, which for many means vacation, relaxation and joy. In some parts of the world, however, the focus must be quite different, in areas hit by extreme heat waves and climate related disasters, such as massive wildfires in North America, continuous drought in East Africa and extreme flooding in Pakistan.
Although there may be some different opinions about the causes, there is no doubt an increasing global climate crisis. Also, to which extent environmental issues are directly or indirectly involved may be unclear, but human behavior certainly affects the environment, which we must in any case do our utmost to protect.
