Nemko News in Brief October 2024

Dear Reader
Due to circumstances, the distribution of this issue is a bit delayed, unfortunately.
Autumn has definitely arrived. The leaves of trees and bushes here in Oslo, after been yellow or red for a while, are now falling to the ground, and it is time for harvesting apples in our garden and mushrooms in the forest.

The autumn is also time for many seminars as referred in an article below. The participants seem to become more local/regional, which could perhaps be another sign of increasing de-globalization.
Regarding regional trade, in Africa there are interesting things going on, which is also amongst the topics in this issue.
As regards global trade, the outcome of the soon coming US presidential election might certainly have influence on the further development.

Although routers may be used as part of a CPE setup, they are not specifically designed for this purpose.

There have for many years been bilateral cooperation agreements on trade and associated matters between certain African regions, such as the Southern African Development Community (SADC) from 1992 and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) from 1994.
